Veronica Rodriguez

I have been a paralegal for over a decade. I started my career in Houston/Dallas Texas and now I am currently in Wisconsin.

My experience focuses on family law with experience managing complex case files, coordinating discovery and preparing legal documents. I take pride in being organized, detail-oriented, and proactive so attorneys can focus on advocating for their clients while I help keep each case moving forward. I earned my Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Madison Area Technical College and am proud to be a State Bar of Wisconsin Certified Paralegal. My education and hands-on experience have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide reliable, efficient, and client-focused legal support.

Beyond my work as a paralegal, I am honored to serve as President of the Paralegal Association of Wisconsin and as the Primary Delegate for the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA). I am passionate about supporting the growth of the paralegal profession through leadership, education, collaboration, and service while continuing to grow as a legal professional.

A woman standing in front of the trevi fountain in Rome, Italy, smiling at the camera, wearing a black jacket, patterned skirt, and sandals.

When I’m away from my desk, you’ll usually find me somewhere new, traveling the world and soaking up everything I can about different cultures, people, and places. I love the perspective that comes from stepping outside the familiar - trying new foods, wandering unfamiliar streets, and discovering the little details that make each place unique.

At home, that same curiosity has turned into a growing love of the outdoors and a dream of creating a more self-sufficient homestead, one garden bed, homemade canned good, and overly ambitious project at a time. There’s something incredibly rewarding about getting your hands dirty, learning how things work, and slowly turning an idea into something real.

A woman smiling while holding a fish she caught, with a fishing rod in her hand, outdoors near a body of water, during the daytime.

I recently took up fishing and, to my surprise, I have actually managed to catch a few fish… which, of course, means I now consider myself an expert.

When I’m not growing things or attempting to reel them in, I’m usually outside somewhere going on adventures with my best-fury friend Humphrey! I’m happiest when I’m outside, whether that means heading off on a new adventure or simply spending a quiet day enjoying the scenery. Give me something to explore, and a good view, and I’m pretty much in my element.

A woman with glasses, a headband, and ripped jeans squats on a sidewalk next to a German Shepherd dog with a black and tan coat. The woman is smiling and holding the dog's leash. The background shows a residential neighborhood with houses, a driveway, a blue car, trees with autumn leaves, a fire hydrant, and some potted plants.
